Sujon: Oh, excellent decision! Yes, during the last autumn vacation I got an opportunity to visit Bagerhat with my father.

Sharmin: Nice! But why did you choose Bagerhat for visiting?

Sujon: Bagerhat is a place of historical interest. Many people from home and abroad come to Bagerhat to visit the Shat-Gambuj Mosque, a World Heritage Site.

Sharmin: What important things did you see there?

Sujon: The Shat-Gambuj Mosque, the Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali, the large Ghora Dighi, etc.

Sharmin: Would you please tell me about the mosque?

Sujon: Yes, it is an enormous Moghul architecture. Khan Jahan Ali built it in 15th century.

Sharmin: Could you please let me know the uniqueness of the mosque?

Sujon: The mosque is unique because it has sixty pillars supported by seventy seven exquisitely curved domes. Khan Jahan Ali used it both as a mosque and as a court.
