Write a Letter to Your Friend Describing Your Recent River Journey to Sundarbans
    25 May, 2015
    Dear Forid,

I have not heard from you for quite a long time. I hope you all are well. Last week I came back home after finishing our five day long river cruise which started from Dhaka Sadarghat. We went to the Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world. We sailed across different zigzag rivers and then again came back to Dhaka. It is indeed a thrilling experience I have ever had. Today I am writing you about this.

The tour was arranged as a part of our study tour. You might feel surprised at our choice of a river journey. Here are reasons why we chose a river journey. Bangladesh is a riverine country. Hundreds of rivers run across the country. These rivers provide a pleasant mood and a rare natural scene. There is a calm and quiet atmosphere prevail everywhere.

Hence a river journey is often enjoyable and fascinating. There is no such traffic jam by which our city life is often paralysed.  While travelling by bus we run the risk of meeting accidents. But there is less fear of accidents in a river journey. It also has an educative value. One can develop a free and liberal attitude by having such a journey. No more today. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours ever,
    Liza.
