The jute plant has green leaves and grows eight to twelve feet high. It grows in moist soil. Jute grows in spring. The jute plants are tied into bundles after they are cut down and kept under water. When the plants are rotten, jute fibres are separated from the jute sticks. The fibres  are neatly washed and dried in the sun. After that, jute bundles are sold in the market.
