Fish Trader Hacked to Death
Sujon Ahmed, Dhaka, 05 September: Unidentified criminals yesterday hacked a fish trader dead at Gulbagh in Motijheel. Three criminals waylaid Masum, 22, when he was returning home in North Basabo in Sabujbagh at about 8 pm after his day's sale at Malibagh Fish Market, the victim's family members said.
The criminals stabbed Masum indiscriminately and left the scene. He was seriously injured and was sent Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors on duty declared him dead on arrival.
His elder brother, Nasir said a local terrorist and his three other associates might have killed him following previous enmity over trading. A case has already been filed with the local police station in this connection. Police said that they found no clue to kill.
