Honorable Sir,
This is to inform you that my child is severely ill. He has got chest infection due to cold and his coughing is too excessive. In these circumstances, neither he can pay attention to his studies nor I am willing to send him to school. As, you might be aware that this will take a little time to get better I want you to please allow him leave for a week. I am going through all possible means to get him in a better health. He will be back to school as soon as possible. I would appreciate your favor.
