Write a Letter to Your Friend Who Expressed His Condolence on Your Father's Death
    25 May, 2015

    Dear Chayte,

Thank you very much for your kind and sympathetic letter. You say that words are poor comforters. But the sympathy of true friends is a great comfort in times of sorrow. I am really grateful to you for your kind letter.

Some say that death by stroke is a boon to him who dies rather unknowingly though it is painful to his kith and kin. My father suffered no prolonged illness. He passed away suddenly and quietly in his sleep. However, his death came peacefully.

Father's death is a great shock to me though I do not fully realize it even yet. He was fond of you and spoke of you several times towards the end of his days. However, I may be excused from writing more at present. Wishing you all the best.

    Yours ever,

    Liza
