Environment

Environment refers to all our surroundings such as air, water, and land in which people, animals and plants live. So, human beings, animals, plants, air, water and soil are the main elements of the environment. The natural forces like storms, cyclones and earthquakes are also the part of environment. Climate is thus a precondition of the environment.

All the elements of environment are closely related to each other. This way of relationship is known as ecology. The ecosystem is a complex web that links animals, plants, and every other life form in the biosphere. If this relationship is disturbed, it affects the whole environment. For example, the destruction of forests may have serious ecological influence on humans and animals. The ecological imbalance causes climate change and brings about various natural disasters. It may be a great threat to our existence. So, we should take some effective measures to maintain the ecological balance. We should do everything possible to keep our environment clean and danger free. We should plant more and more trees. We should plant two trees before we cut down one. We should not destroy our wildlife.

The most important thing is to work sincerely to raise public awareness all over the country. Mass media like radio, television, newspaper etc. can play an important role in this regard. Otherwise, we will fall into a great danger and the nation will have no hope.
