My Visit to a Trade Fair

A trade fair is a fair for the display of industrial products to both the domestic and the foreign buyers. Last year I got an opportunity to visit the international trade fair which was held in January at Sher-e-Banglanagar, Dhaka. It was held in a vast area and I found about seven hundred decorated stalls of different countries.

Japan, China, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Iran, Singapore, Thailand, Germany, Britain, South Korea, Myanmar, Bangladesh and more than 30 other foreign countries participated in the fair. Beautiful and spacious stalls of different shapes and sizes were erected to display the products which were kept there in an attractive arrangement. I was highly impressed by the beautiful sight of the fair. Moving from pavilion to pavilion in the trade fair, I saw that people were busy in buying, selling, and observing.

The economic value of a trade fair is very great. It is a means to expand international trade and to enhance its economy. It also helps in giving international market of our products.
