My Future Plan of Life
Many people have no definite aim in life. They are like ships without rudders and without goals. So, a man who wishes to succeed in life must have a definite aim in his life. My aim in life is to become a doctor. I like the profession because it is a noble profession.

The idea came to my head during a vacation when I was at my village home. There, before my eyes, I saw the only one son of a poor farmer died of a high fever without any medical help. At that night, I realized that only a physician can help one in such a dire moment of one’s life. But I have chosen it as my aim in life for some other reasons. More than eighty percent of the people of our country live in villages and they suffer from various diseases for ignorance, poverty, malnutrition and want of proper sanitation. But the hospitals and the doctors are very few in rural areas. Most of the doctors hanker after money and honour and they prefer cities and towns to villages as their fields of practice. As a result, many people of the villages die like cats and dogs without proper treatment and medicine. Seeing all these, I have taken decision to become a doctor in my future life. Now I am preparing myself for this. From class IX, I have been studying in science group having Biology. Now I am at the HSC level. I am trying hard to improve my result so that I can get admitted into a good medical college. I know that becoming a doctor is not an easy task. It is hard and also costly. My parents also know my aim in life and they always encourage me to achieve my goal. I am determined to try my best to achieve my goal in life.

However, after becoming a doctor, I will practise in the villages. I will treat the poor people without any fee. Besides, I will try to make the people conscious about health and sanitation. My best effort would be to serve the sufferings of humanity. I believe in "To serve man is to serve God”.
